Castle

Thankfully I felt better today and had more energy. R was still somewhat tired.
We spent the morning doing chores and looking after Amber by taking her to the Kiddi City place. After we dropped her back with L we met up with K and walked down to the castle for another interesting astronomy talk. This one gave a lot of information about the universe generally. Two facts I remember - stars form from dust clouds, and they estimate there are two trillion galaxies in the known universe. Just imagine how many stars and how many planets are in those galaxies and it becomes impossible to believe that we are the only planet with life forms - however it is extremely unlikely that we will ever get to meet any of those other life forms because the chances are that it would take longer to reach them than our species has existed, even if we could travel at the speed of light. Makes you feel inconsequential.
