A Meeting In The Shade

Every evening, unless it's raining, a group of seniors drive their golf carts to the riverside and gather for a few social minutes to catch up on their day or find out the gossip on the ones who aren't there.  They'll laugh and drink for half an hour or so and then the chill and dark will drive them back to their tiny indoor spaces for another night.
In not a member of their club, I don't have a golf cart.  But I'm sure I'd be welcome if I went and stood among them.
