Inexplicable

A sign at the local community park went up last week stating that the tennis court would be closed for resurfacing which seemed odd to me since the surface was in very good condition. 

‘Resurfacing’ has taken on a new meaning because there is a crew at the tennis court today completely demolishing the old (perfectly usable) surface. 

I find it odd that there is a never ending stream of funding for very questionable ‘improvement’ projects yet never enough funds to make a meaningful dent in our homelessness problem. 

I receive monthly emails from my local representative that, to be honest, I almost always ignore. I think it’s time I stopped ignoring them and started asking questions.
