Broncroft Castle

I took this view from our front lawn this afternoon. It shows Brown Clee Hill with the distinctive radio masts at the summit. It is the highest point in Shropshire at 540 metres, as blipped before.

To my great surprise, the directional sunlight also picked out the castellations of Broncroft Castle, three or four miles distant. I never knew it was visible from our property and I am strangely pleased by this discovery. It can be seen at the very bottom of the image. Best viewed large. I have included a link to my previous visit, whilst on an 11 mile walk around the dale.

A jolly nice day in good weather, although there was a very cold wind.
