Far from the madding crowd

After work I decided to cycle down to the Abbey, home of La Trappe brewery.

I always seem to be able to find tranquility there, and after a not-too-easy day at work, it was a peaceful sanctuary.

I bought a few beery souveniers for a friend of mine, and on the way back sat at the canal for a while.

A large industrial ship sailed past; self-contained, people live there for months at a time, take their car, and bikes with them.
Oh, don't tempt me....
