Soggy Paws
Layla stayed with me again last night so we had an early start this morning (probably late for her as Steve gets up before dawn to go to work I know). She rushed out into the garden and, as usual, did about 20 circuits at top speed. It was cold and damp. As you can see from her paw prints on the steps. I really enjoy having her stay. A little bundle of love! A busy day (10,966 steps so far). I dropped Layla at Doggy Day Care, then home for some breakfast. Various chores in the village and then managed a Teams meeting. Handyman Dave came to my rescue to help check out the boxes (we look through 19) in the loft (too heavy. I just couldn't manage it alone). That took a while. we found a small album of my late parents wedding photos which my sister wants. Penny dropped in en route to pick up Layla. I've picked up some groceries and a couple of lampshades. Calling it a day now. I was going to drive to Cornwall tomorrow. But it would either be late tomorrow start or... be absolutely ready to set off early on Friday morning. I have more or less decided on the latter.
