Nula's cottage
I went to check up on a neighbour today knowing it would be a misty, damp and muddy climb. This cottage is a typical Andalucian rural dwelling, built around 1930. It has been well maintained and cared for. I love the little living room which has the original stone fireplace. There is no central heating in these stone cottages and log fires are the main source of warmth. A family with ten children once lived in this house!
The forecast says the rain will be easing by the end of this week. Mark will be pleased as he has a few roof repairs pending.
