Spent much of the day in the garden, hence a garden blip. This is the underside of a fern. It keeps coming up year after year so must like its position or the soil.

So, a good day for drying clothes outdoors and cutting the beech hedge. After a trip to the recycling centre I was busy planning a quiet weekend, all by myself, at a secluded location in Yorkshire. Then I got a phone call - change of plan needed. Instead I will be spending 2 nights at a Premier Inn on one of the busiest roundabouts in Newcastle.
