Daphne odora "Walberton"

Back to a semblance of normality!  We had our visit to a garden centre with Kanyl.  What a change a few weeks makes.  Not long ago we struggled to find a splash of colour to blip.  Today everywhere was a sea of colour.

There had been a lot of "forcing" going on, for example there were Fritillaria meleagris in full flower whereas at home the shoots are barely showing above the ground. I chose this flower of Daphne.  To tell the truth I caught a waft of its scent.
