Laughter
Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to old London Town again.
The train was late, so I have another delay repay again. Lol!
In the office with my young padawan, we had plenty of laughs, especially when we went for some fresh air after completing a successful audit.
In the evening I headed to the theatre to see The Last Laugh, a play about the comedian Tommy Cooper with Bob Monkhouse and Eric Morecambe. It was very funny, but also poignant when you reach the end and realise where we are and how Tommy died.
A bit of drama in the hotel after, the fire alarm went off and then stopped. I looked out and couldn't see anyone else, so went back in and then it went off again. Got dressed and this time so was everyone else, although when we got down to reception they said it was a false alarm. But with all that adrenaline flowing through me, it was difficult to get to sleep again.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Team work and laughs with my young padawan
2. A wonderful evening at the theatre
