Weir

Went to the Baths first thing; had a quick rowing and static cycle session then a swim. Talked to another member doing the same thing. 

Out in the early afternoon by tram to Saughton Park; found a fine planting of daffodils out along a south facing wall, but not so many elsewhere .. it's a little colder than the city gardens so flowers a little later. Walked back by the Water of Leith; saw a heron. Lots of water rolling over the weir, which has a lot of hung up branches and a tree, just like the lower weir. Clearing crew required ..
