After the lovely sunshine of the previous days we went to cold and foggy, still no rain though. After work I met a fellow ampler mostly to go shopping for some bits and bobs for our exhibition. On the way we stopped at the Bethanien to check out some photo exhibitions. The place is amazing. It originally was a hospital which closed in 1970. Then there were plans to demolish it and run a motorway through it. A neighbouring house was famously occupied (Georg-von-Rauch-Hause). It is now an art venue and atelier space. We very much enjoyed the exhibition. We failed with our shopping though, we didn't get the mounting materials we were looking for. Ah well, another time.
