The Bonnie Auld Clyde...
Auditing a pipeline inspection contract from Cumbernauld in a Jet Ranger helicopter, we flew along the Clyde and down to Prestwick where I was based as a Search and Rescue pilot in 1975 - a wee while back.
We picked up a pregnant lady from Arran one foggy night and the bairn was born in the back of the helicopter on the runway of Glasgow airport. The father worked as a distillery manager for Black and White. We were treated to tour of the bottling plant near Glasgow and chose our bottle of whisky after sample a huge selection in the VIP suite. Happy days!
