Success
A few weeks ago we had a delicious dessert called flan libanais in the pizza restaurant in Fabrezan. It was so good that when I got home I googled it, and found a recipe that sounded very close to what we had. It took a while to organise myself to make it, as it requires rosewater, which I ended up ordering online as I couldn't find it in any local shops.
Today we had a proper lunch for once -- S got a saddle of lamb out of the freezer and made lamb boulangère -- delicious. So it seemed a good opportunity to make this light and refreshing dessert. It's very easy to make, diet-friendly too, and I was delighted that it turned out just like the restaurant's -- I reckon they used the same recipe source!
This prompted me to turn to my neglected recipe blog, which I haven't updated for six months. I was embarrassed to find about a dozen comments (including one from a blipper!) that had been residing in limbo for up to five months waiting for me to approve them.
Having duly done that, I then went down a rabbit hole trying to work out why the server hadn't sent me emails telling me about them. This wasn't as simple as just flicking a switch, and it got frustrating, so I gave up and went for a walk (weather not as nice as yesterday). However I did publish the recipe, so here it is!
