Gently down the stream

Pairing up

I managed to take my walk during the coldest and greyest part of the morning, which meant there were fewer birds around than I'd hoped for.  However, all the ones that showed themselves were definitely well paired up, which was good to see.  The roe deer seem to have temporarily disappeared from the reserve, I think because of all the heavy machinery that's been employed there recently, but I did spy a single muntjac.  Also seen, a frog sitting for a long time underwater in the pond and doing not very much; then these two robins clearly hoping for a mealworm breakfast!

Spent too much of the rest of the day trying to hang a badly put together readymade curtain - and no, I haven't yet sorted that shoebox of old photos  ;-/

Take care - and have a good evening  xx
