The Fisherman

On our walk today we came across a fisherman by the River Lea. He had just caught this beautiful carp and was netting it out of the water. He removed the hook and asked me to take his picture with it. Sadly his compact camera wouldn’t work. I suspect the memory card was full. I said never mind. I will take the picture on my phone and send it to you. He didn’t have an email address or even a mobile phone. Perhaps I’ll print it out and take it with me next time we walk that way in case he is still there.
