Life is a Challenge!

TO SOME IT MAY LOOK BORING...

...but to Mr. HCB it's a sign that he is feeling better and has been able to get out into the greenhouse to plant some of his seeds!

We have a busy day today - I have already made soup - and it’s only just after 9 o’clock, Mr. HCB has an appointment with my hairdresser to have his haircut - the first time for over 2 months - and then perhaps he won’t look quite so much like an aging hippie!  Then, if we can squeeze it in, we may go for a quick coffee at Jack’s - before Mr. HCB’s appointment with the nurse at 11.30.  I then have to go and do some shopping before cooking our evening meal and following that we are going to our second Lent Home Group.  Phew!

Going back to the seeds, we are both happy to see the Tomato “Cream Sausage” looking good and also the Cosmos “Fizzy Pink”.  Most of the seeds are now on the dining table in the conservatory, after “sweet talking” me, I agreed with Mr. HCB that they would be better there than out in the greenhouse until they get their second set of leaves, and then he will pot them on out there.

As I said last week, marriage is all about “give and take” - and who cares if the conservatory doesn’t look pristine because there are seed trays everywhere - we certainly don’t - and if it saves us money, which it will eventually, then I’m quite happy and so is Mr. HCB.

I know this is completely “off theme” for Tiny Tuesday, but the theme is optional and these plants are tiny!  Enjoy your day - we know our feet won’t touch the ground, but it’s what keeps us going!
