Finally done!

I was really looking forward to having my hair cut this morning but Linda messaged to say she's caught the tummy bug her son has so would have to rearrange.  Third cancellation of plans this week.  I really must change my deodorant :-)

D headed off to meet Keith for golf at Leven and after lunch I ironed the crochet easter eggs and jungle animals.  Got in a mess with fabric glue putting the eyes on the animals and the ears and trunks on the elephants.  This animal bunting is far too fiddly for my hands and I won't be making it again if I can help it.

Spent the rest of the afternoon finishing off the three lots of bunting, including stitching the face markings on the tigers and monkeys.  It felt great to finally be crocheting the chain to hang them from. Heaved a huge sigh of relief when they were completed.  Now only three crochet projects on the go :-))

Another lovely gift arrived this time from our friends Natalie and Jim.  Two beautiful bunches of delicately coloured roses and a box with lovely cakes and biscuits.  Good old M&S :-)

D returned, happy with his golf and pleased to report that Mairi feels much better so our postponed lunch with her and Keith will go ahead tomorrow.  Looking forward to that.
