Mermaid Street

I set off to pick my friend Jane up & decide where to go; I suggested to go to Rye & she agreed.
On route we stopped off at Tibbs Farm Cafe for Lunch, I had a delish Carrot, Ginger & Coriander Soup, Jane had a Sausage Bap.
Beautiful place in the middle of the Countryside looking out over a Valley of Hops ready to spring into action.
We left there & soon we were in Rye, parked near the B&B Windmill, walking along until we got to Mermaid Street where I took this photo of Jane standing on the Cobbled Street.
We really enjoyed the walk around Rye & we popped into Lamb House which is a National Trust property.
After our visit there we stopped for a cuppa & Scone, before continuing wandering around this quaint Town including 2 different Churches.
Time to go home after a very happy day.
