Printemps

Arrived at St Pancras at 630am, a bit early, and was offered a place on the earlier train. An extra hour in Paris!
Breakfast was at a crepe cafe in Le Marais with coffee! Then wandered around through Republique where the Women’s Day March participants were gathering, well-supported by many men. I kept walking to Canal St Martin, wandered, stopped, browsed a flea market, visited an excellently stocked health food store and then headed to the department store for a late lunch in the afternoon sun on the 8th floor terrace. So nice to relax in the sun with a great view.
Then more window shopping and walked to Jardin des Palais Royal along Rue du Opera. It was getting late so I took the train to my Airbnb. My hostess was lovely and we somehow managed to communicate - her English was as good as my French.
A good day. And 25,312 steps!
