Sawn off

A complete contrast today.  It's been overcast and much cooler.  

My blip was taken yesterday.  The council have gone round chopping low suckers and branches.  Some are very sharp and perhaps not very safe for small children running around and possibly falling on the stumps.  I have to watch that the hound doesn't cut the thin skin on his feet.

Headed to town this morning.  Bought a cheap kettle from John Lewis.  I do wonder who buys a kettle for over £50.  There's a SMEG Dolce & Gabbana one for £599! 

Walked hound after lunch.  Back home made a rhubarb and sultana cake, stewed leftover rhubarb and made a leek and potato eggah/frittata.

Now chilling and will watch Strike on BBC  iplayer.
