Sunday Morning Fishing
We had a family walk this morning at Steart Marshes, a bird reserve on the mouth of the River Parrett.
Despite its position not far from Hinckley Nuclear Power Station, it’s a very attractive wetland landscape, with accessible paths and modern hides and viewpoints scattered around.
It’s home to all manner of ducks, waders and waterfowl, such as the three in the photo who were all enjoying their fishing trip.
Another bonus was the food truck selling home made sausage rolls, a variety of sweet and savoury scones and excellent coffee.
Highly recommended if you’re in the Bridgwater area.
