The perks of a new office location

Another foray into food photography. Since we relocated offices a couple of weeks ago we have come to the conclusion that it was a very good move from a food point of view. Now we are in a more office based business park we have at least 3 sandwich vans come everyday, we are next to a newly refurbished pub and we are a 10 minute stroll from an entertainment park with more restaurants, all of which appear to have lunchtime special offers.

Yesterday I was invited to take part in a taste panel by somebody who provides buffet lunches when we have visitors for meetings. They wanted peoples feedback on some new sandwich fillings before they are introduced into the buffets. I had never thought of cheddar cheese, raspberries and jalapenos as a sandwich combination, or in fact using potato salad as a main filling either. Is that like a posh chip butty?

Anyway today the cupcake lady came to visit, and needless to say me and some of the guys paid a visit, and I was torn between Lemon Meringue and the Triple Chocolate, so I decided to try one of each. They survived the afternoon in the office an the journey home, and lasted long enough to be blipped, but I don't think one will last much longer without being eaten. They are quite large, so the other will probably have to wait until supper.
