Life in Sunny Dubai

Evening stroll

(10/3/25)

It's been a quiet, leisurely day after yesterday's late night—for me, anyway. G was up early and went to the service. She would have swung by and taken me to the Creek for breakfast, but I didn't want to go then.

We ventured out later in the cool of the evening. The weather is beautiful around sunset, and I don't want to miss out on any of it for the last few weeks that we have it. We could have gone anywhere, so I suggested revisiting Creek Park. It is at our doorstep.

My blip is the first picture that I took after parking the car. It is the hotel where I now go for my haircut. G took loads of pictures but nearly all of them are grainy because of low light. As for the park/our walk - I am so glad we reacquainted ourselves with this park. It is one of Dubai's oldest, so the trees are well-established. So much so, it was incredible to hear the birds roosting in the trees, of which there are hundreds. The BBQ areas are amazing as well - large, well-thought-out and well-lit. It is definitely a place to consider for the next team BBQ.

The weather was perfect for a few thousand steps! We walked the entire perimeter of the park before returning home for a modified pizza dinner.
