Almost birthday

My birthday isn’t until tomorrow but M presented me with my delicious birthday cake today. She had made it to her usual high standard and we all enjoyed it in their new flat, which they have now made beautiful and tasteful. We then walked into Blackheath village and had some galettes, before heading onto the heath itself. Amber was still not her usual happy self, so we had to work round that. R and I checked in to our hotel and walked back to the flat.
In the evening we ordered a takeaway which wss was very good (from Dishoom) and drank some beer and wine. We played games for a while and then R and I walked back to our hotel. A very pleasant evening
