Quote Of The Day
"Books are something social - a writer speaking to a reader - so I think making the reading of a book the centre of a social event, the meeting of a book club, is a brilliant idea."
(Yann Martel)

Having finished reading the second book in Jay Kristoff's Nevernight trilogy, Godsgrave, at the weekend, and knowing that my colleague will soon pass on to me the second in Kristoff's Empire Of The Vampire trilogy, I chose a nice short book to read. I read the first two books in the Nome trilogy, Truckers and Diggers some while ago, so now is a good time to read the final installment, Wings. It's hilarious. Of course, it is .... it's Sir Terry.
