Day Drinking

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I had to work again today (Sunday). It's okay. I did actually EFF ALL SQUARED on Friday because I was so knocked sideway by the work kindness I received from previous colleagues. I just couldn't think straight.

I'm still aglow.

So anyway. I worked from 10 to 6, got all the things I need to do, did and then effed off to bed early. 

But I have skipped the best part of my day. The best part of my day occurred before all of this. I was ABOUT to start work when the Princess sent me a text!

I AM FREE

ALSO A BIT DRUNK

BUT FREE!!

So we had a lovely chat. The Princess was INDEED a bit drunk but we talked happily for an hour. About Caro's job, about the FOBs and about my job search.

Which is when the Princess made the most kindest, sweetest, loveliest, Princessiest gesture and offered to help me and Caro out if we needed it. 

As it turns out, it looks like we are going to be okay. I have three opportunities which may turn into something and enough savings to see us through to May. 

But that was HONESTLY the best thing. It made my whole weekend and I have been smiling ever since. 

And I was once again knocked sideways by kindness. 

It honestly does feel like magic, this friendship of ours. I love you so, so much, Princess Normal.
