Friday nights with dales

Husband is on a stag night in Bournemouth so em and I took it upon ourselves to check out her new local hostilaries.

We took the longer scenic route to our first pit stop the rising sun. Unfortunately we had under estimated its popularity and had not reserved for dinner so a swift g & t and we were on our way to The Lord Lyon. Again taking the scenic route to check out the other side of the road !

Chilli squid, roast duck and a few bloody Mary's later we pootled back to ems for a coffee n wee dram. Hamish was not over enamoured with having to wear my scarf.
