Stanhope Edge, near Hathersage.

Another glorious day in the Peak District. I walked up to the top and along the rocky cliff, the views were amazing. Then W phoned to say one of his friends had crashed into the back of a car. He has been to hospital and is ok thankfully although I think it shocked everyone. I drove down to Hathersage had some lunch and then walked around the footpaths to the north. I returned to the camping barn around 2 and waited for W to return. I met quite a few of his friends, all lovely. It felt like a long drive home but we’ve had a great weekend.
