Slug

A denizen of the 'resting' compost heap. Always quite exciting to take the lid off. Today it was about 30 of these magnificent beasts. I think the big ones eat mostly anything on the ground - scavengers. But I'm glad the compost bins are in the front garden, away from the vegetables, just in case they fancy a change of diet!
