Nature walk
Our middle son and his family came for lunch, and later this afternoon I took our five-year old granddaughter H out for a short nature walk on the Green. We discussed the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees, and how ivy clings tight to fences and walls. We collected feathers and old acorn cups, wild flowers, a self-seeded hellebore by the wayside and a dandelion. The tête à tête was picked from Granny’s front garden when we arrived back home.
