Not the view I usually see when in church

It's very rare I stand and look at this straight on. Um, except when doing altar frontal changes and I'm lining up the images on the altar frontal with Jesus' feet.... but I digress. My more usual view is from the left, and when it's much clearer that it's actually not a crucifix... Christ is not nailed to that cross, but rather leaving it to ascend into heaven. 

It took me time to get used to this image but I do love it now.
