Amphibian Frolicking

It must be a little bit early for frogs mating, but I'm sure they won't be long. There is no activity at all at the usual pond in Chells Manor. I wonder if the neighbours have sabotaged this location. Removing all the frogspawn last year for example. There is one local man in particular who likes to complain vociferously about anyone who dares to park up there. There is also a large quantity of white sliced bread floating on the water. Thrown to ducks, I would imagine, but it's not been eaten and is just rotting. Would that poison the water?  I took this guy at my sister-in-law's next door neighbour's pond. The common frog can live for 5 years in the wild.
