Long-tailed Triptych
Another beautiful spring day takes us to RSPB Conwy. We did plan to visit Sychnant, but sadly there’s nowhere to park - the weekend sunshine means everywhere is busy.
Once again, there’s lots of birdsong, and the still-bare trees mean spotting birds is easier. I’m thrilled to spot a lone long tailed tit performing acrobatically, perching on impossibly thin twigs. . I always find them hard to photograph - they’re just so flighty - so getting a few captures is very satisfying.
Meanwhile in Meols, Lili’s managed to remove her bandage so there’s a trip to A&E where they are seen quickly and she’s now sporting a pristine white dressing - for now at least!
Back at home there’s rugby to watch - two exciting games with a great recovery from Wales in the second half, but goodness, totally outclassed by Scotland in the first.
