The Seed of the Sacred Fig

Dinner before going to see the film of the title.It has had rave reviews. An Iranian movie made under difficult conditions and an oppressive regime.

Potentially brilliant but oh, so long. Nearly three hours. Didnt get out till 11 pm. Why do they make such long films? It could easily have had half an  hour edited out of it without losing anything. 

So for that reason alone I wouldn't recommend it. Has anyone else seen it?
