Bleachfield

The initial chief industry in our wee village was the paper mill, which was once the source of the Bank of Scotland's bank notes. The paper was dried and bleached on this field. Hence its name. These days it’s used purely for recreational purposes, including a training session for the Mini Goblins on Sunday mornings. They’d finished and were packing away by the time we took the wee man for his constitutional bimble but he did scavenge a bread roll, a sausage, and a cupcake. So we spent most of the walk trying to prise foodstuffs out of his mouth. Hopefully they won’t make a reappearance later.

Beautiful day here but freezing fog over the hill in Haddy I discovered.
