Doing well

The usual trip to the gym this morning, R had gone over to the Nottingham area to meet up with a friend to do a Park run and catch up on the news.

We went down a bit later than normal, so saw different swimming groups and families. Then home to do a bit more in the garden.

Daytime TV is not an activity practiced in this house, but the European Indoor Athletics Championships are on this weekend and are a must to see. B was a senior coach for Uk Athletics and spent many years coaching youngsters in Essex and Lincolnshire. We attended athletics events to support the athletes competing. It’s fascinating to see Jessica Ennis and Jenny Meadows (their names in the period they were competing) as mature and knowledgeable young ladies. They were super pleasant youngsters and are very well informed, a pleasure to watch.

The flowers are an emergency blip. A new bunch with the inclusion of the three chrysanthemums that have survived since my birthday.
