Steam train trip with the children to celebrate Frank's 70th. Such a special day. We agreed to keep discussions of the current political horrors to a minimum as we have recently developed a tendency to become an echo chamber of doom when we all get together !
Frank was a picture of contentment all day, just savouring having us all to himself chatting, giggling and snoozing.
For my part, I took time to pause and be truly grateful.
