It just landed. . .

………………………….. right behind a neighbour’s villa. It simply couldn’t have got any closer. It had been hovering over and around the Village, going up and coming down again, having everyone wondering whereabouts it really was headed for. The travellers in the basket all eventually climbed out, helped stabilise it, and then the balloon was deflated. Show over!

It’s been a glorious sunny day, much more like summer than autumn. I did some gardening after church, and then a friend & I headed off to the movies to see The Last Journey. It’s one of the most unusual movies I’ve ever seen, sensitive & thought provoking, and most definitely not out of Hollywood.
