The Weighbridge Café

My walking buddy is in Melbourne for the weekend so K and I went to Slurp Slurp and walked back via the tower at Green Square Library, the one with a room on each floor (Anything, Music, Computer, Quiet, Reading Room) and the fake colour-coded books, then home along unlovely Bourke Rd.

I’ve never seen this café open, but it’s not necessarily closed. Two men in workwear were eating their packed lunches in the plastic-shrouded outdoor dining area.

The flatscreen TV was gone this morning. A gift bag and birthday card for Lilly had taken its place.
