Bees and wasps.....

have found our ripe grapes.
At this time of the year we prune back the excess foliage to allow the bunches of grapes to ripen. One bunch was already attracting the bees and wasps. We will cover the vine tomorrow to try and deter the wildlife from annihilating the crop. The wasps weren't playing nicely trying to keep all the food for themselves.  The bees just kept coming back.. 
In other news, a drought has been declared in our region which doesn't surprise me. Everything is so dry. I have lost a couple of plants.  Nothing special but it’s the first time ever that has happening in my garden. There is no rain on the horizon unfortunately. We were wanting to go away in the caravan next week but not sure we will. Might have to stay home and water.
