A day of netball

Quite fitting that on International Women’s Day I’ve spent most of it watching ladies playing netball.

Charlotte’s team had a match at 10:15, at their local sports centre where they train. Started badly but came back to win, and with one game left are in with a chance of the play offs.

Quick turnaround and then we raced down to Sheffield arena to watch the Netball Super Cup, the opening weekend of the Super League. Missed the first couple of games but there were plenty more. Queues for food and drink horrendous but otherwise a great afternoon.

So many inspiring young women competing in one day.

Three positives
1) great comeback from Wakefield Wildcats
2) got to spend a full afternoon with Charlotte - it was supposed to be a dad daughter afternoon but obviously Stuart couldn’t manage it
3) Liverpool also came back from a poor stat to win again
