So today, after contacting the dentist, the pharmacy and NHS 111, my weird reaction to the dentist visit yesterday, (with symptoms continuing overnight), was determined as an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. I've now stopped them. Fortunately, I'm not in any pain as no-one would prescribe any alternative until Monday.
