Silver birch

Another bright day but not quite so warm. 

In the morning I baked a spiced swede cake, rather good, new recipe. A friend came for coffee and then K and I drove to nature reserve. A pleasant walk but not as many birds spotted as last time. When we were down by the river K spotted, avocets and other seabirds. I took a photo of some blossom which I think was blackthorn, liked the silver birch and also the view from the nature reserve, extra. Called in at a supermarket on way home and then went for a walk. Finished my latest jigsaw this evening.
