From the tower…

…at Sissinghurst Castle Gardens today. A wonderful day. Beautiful weather, a wonderful NT property and a great choice of transport.. my MGF, and with the roof down.

I really love Sissinghurst. So many stories to tell of the lives of those who lived there, and such creativity! Even this early in the year with few plants in flower, the gardens were amazing.

We started our visit with a circular walk outside the grounds. Wonderful, and many bird songs recorded!

My extras; Vita Sackville-West’s tower room where she spent many hours writing and designing her garden. The tower was her reason for wanting the castle. A wonderful place!
