More of the same...

With the temperature pushing up towards 20 degrees I thought there was a good chance of snapping some bees and other insects at Hampton Court this morning. As is so often the case, I was wrong! Plenty of flowers, but only one bee in the whole time I was there, and he made himself scarce before I could line him up for a portrait. Maybe the insects have seen the forecast and, like me, aren't convinced that it's really spring yet - one or two more warm days and then the thermometer is due to drop back down well below 10 degrees. I also discovered today that I really don't like my new macro lens as much as my old one, but that's a bit of a first world problem that I'll just have to put up with :-)
