Earlier in the week I looked at the news and they said possible northern lights on Saturday.. I knew we'd be in the north pennines so I rubbed my hands together in childish glee but now we're here the forecast isn't looking too aurora-y.  Shame.. but the stars here are something else anyway!  This is just a quick phone snap with a dog pulling on my arm but still, it's magical.
Busy day, Mr KCNQ2Haiku did a mammoth bike ride so he was gone from about 8am til about 4:45pm and I was 'Ben and Leo' monitor.  I had lots to keep Ben busy and I went with most of his ideas and wishes so we had quite a settled day, no drama but some exhaustion :-) Amongst other things I've played 3 board games, made pancakes and aborted a walk I wanted to go on but hey, could be worse.  Speaking of.. remind me in the future to tell you about being woken up by a woodlouse on my chest :-/  For now, it's still too soon to talk about it.
