Dusty Bug

A busy day in the garden, making the most of the fact that the soil is drying. Luckily I'd been shown my Blip before we started: P had found this bug on the equipment he was getting out of the shed and had persuaded it to move to a more natural substrate. It's a Western Conifer Seed Bug - I had to look up the name but I'd actually found one here in 2022. Today's bug was dusty, presumably just coming out of winter hibernation in the shed, whereas the previous one hadn't started in October of that year!
