Busy street?

When we came here over 40 years ago , this was a busy street with a supermarket and Woolworths, a cinema and many more good shops. Now we have the supermarkets behind this street. The small shops are suffering and many have gone. When you see this Main Street in the County town Dingwall , you can understand . People head to the supermarkets, get what they need and head home.
We needed to visit the ironmongers and had a wander along and I was surprised to see it so quiet on a Saturday afternoon.
