Eye contact

Another busy day in the garden and I’ve now finished all the grass edging against hard surfaces. JJ has cleaned the inside of the cars and strummed some more brambles in the orchard.

It’s been a lovely day but I think I was a little optimistic being out in tee shirt and shorts, as there was a chilly breeze.

Ratty was searching for food yesterday evening.  It even climbed the pole but was defeated by the squirrel baffle.  If there’s no food around it will hopefully move off somewhere else.  Fortunately the pigeons are very good at hovering the area under the feeders.

I am led to believe this is a tortoise beetle, not something I am familiar with, but it was hanging around on the conservatory window.
